Schaeffler Gruppe einigt sich mit ihren Banken auf ein mittelfristiges Finanzierungskonzept
Die Schaeffler Gruppe hat sich mit ihren fünf Konsortialbanken auf ein grundsätzliches Finanzierungskonzept über rund 12 Mrd. Euro verständigt, das die Finanzierung der Schaeffler Gruppe für die nächsten Jahre nachhaltig sichert und eine Umwandlung der Schaeffler Gruppe in eine kapitalmarktorientierte Struktur vorsieht.
Auf dieser Basis werden die bisherigen Kreditverbindlichkeiten der Schaeffler Gruppe in zwei Tranchen aufgeteilt: einen (a) Kredit, der auf das operative Geschäft abgestellt wird, und einen (b) Kredit, der auf Holding-Ebene verbleibt. Die Laufzeit des Kredites zu (a) beträgt bis zu 4 1/2 Jahre und die zu (b) bis zu 6 Jahre.
Das Finanzierungskonzept wird in mehreren Schritten implementiert.
„Wir haben mit der Einigung über das Finanzierungskonzept einen zentralen Meilenstein erreicht, um die Schaeffler Gruppe in den nächsten Jahren erfolgreich weiter zu entwickeln“, sagte Klaus Rosenfeld, Finanzvorstand der Schaeffler Gruppe, „Zugleich erfüllen wir mit dem Konzept eine weitere wichtige Voraussetzung für eine mögliche Zusammenführung der Schaeffler Gruppe mit der Continental AG.“
